City Council meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month. They are held at the Ball Ground City Hall Council Chamber located at 215 Valley Street, Ball Ground, GA at 7:00 PM. Work sessions are scheduled on an as needed basis, and normally would be held at 6:00 PM immediately preceding the Council Meeting.
Order of Business
Except as otherwise provided by ordinance, the procedures of the mayor and council shall be governed by Robert’s Rules of Order. The order of business at all regular meetings shall be as follows:
a) Call to order
b) Pledge of Allegiance
c) Public appearances
d) Approval of minutes for prior meeting
e) Old business
f) New business
g) City Manager’s operations and finance report
h) Committee reports
i) Mayor’s comments
j) Public Comments
k) Executive Session (If Needed)

Citizens who wish to be placed on the agenda for a public appearance should contact the City Clerk.
