Item 1: Call to Order – Pledge of Allegiance
Mayor Pro Tem Frank Homiller called the meeting to order due to the absence of Mayor Roberts and led those present in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Council Members Present: John Byrd, Lee Prettyman & Andrenia Stoner
Council Members Absent: Ashley Holcomb
Staff Present: Darrell Caudill; City Attorney, Dana Davis; Police Chief, Randy Westbrook; Finance Director, Eric Wilmarth; City Manager,
Karen L. Jordan; City Clerk
Item 2: Consider Resolution R07-06 This resolution empowers the Mayor and City Clerk to execute any and all related documents necessary to securing financing from the Cherokee County Development Authority to complete the approximately .7 miles of paved roadway connecting the north and south, previously completed parts of Valley Street in the City of Ball Ground
Finance Director Randy Westbrook presented Resolution No. R07-06 for Council consideration. The resolution empowers the Mayor and City Clerk to execute any and all documents related to securing funding from the Cherokee County Development Authority for the funding to construct .7 miles of Valley Street.
Council Members discussed the resolution.
Council Member Stoner moved to accept Resolution No. A07-06 as presented.
Council Member Byrd seconded the motion. Motion Approved 3-0.
Item 3: Adjourn
There being no further business for Council consideration a motion was duly made and seconded to adjourn at 7:25 PM.
The minutes of this November 19, 2007 Work Session approved this 13th Day of December, 2007.
