125th Anniversary and City Hall Dedication

ANNIVERSARY BELL

In order to commemorate the 125th anniversary of its founding, the City of Ball Ground  installed a bell in the City Hall Bell Tower. The bronze bell, nearly two feet in diameter, was made by John Eachus and Associates and cast by the Royal Dutch Bell Foundry in Holland. The bell was dedicated during a ceremony at City Hall on Saturday, September 27, 2008.   Many thanks to the following who made this possible with their kind contribution:  Marshall & Kathy Day, Calvin & Cheryl Hill, Rick & Elaine Roberts, Coy & Ernestine Holcomb, Mark & Tammy Robillard, William & Sally Eubanks, William & Marlise Pace, Mr. Reg Hines, Cherokee Bank, Regions Bank, United Community Bank, Roach, Caudill & Gunn; Attorneys At Law, W. H. Bass Company.

Made in Holland, the bell commemorates the 125th anniversary of the city\'s founding.
