All of our events, big and small, are conducted in an effort to make Ball Ground a great place to visit, and a better place to live. May through October, weather permitting, the Ball Ground Main Street Program brings a concert and a movie under the stars in City Park downtown. These events provide fun and enjoyment for the entire family, and hopefully delivers potential customers to the doorsteps of our downtown businesses.
Each year on the Saturday preceding the 4th of July, the Ball Ground United Methodist Church hosts a “Faith and Freedom Festival” in the City Park downtown. Attendance at this event continues to grow each year. Although the City does not sponsor this event, we do sponsor the fireworks that follow at approximately 9:45 p.m. It is a great show that is usually attended by several thousand local residents.
The largest event each year comes on Friday evening, one week after Thanksgiving. The annual “March of the Toys for Toys for Tots Parade” hosted by Tim and Pam Cavender of Ball Ground. This event brings in excess of 4,000 people each year to our downtown to enjoy the parade, shop, and visit with Santa. For more information about the parade or to be a participant, visit their website .
Keep a watch on our Events Calendar to see what is coming next.
