September, 2023 Veteran of the Month
Carl was inducted into the United States Army on February 5th, 1965, and served until February 3rd, 1967. While in the military Carl received training to become a 91R10 – Food Inspection Specialist. During his tenure of service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and earned the Sharpshooter marksmanship badge with the M14 rifle. Carl also served two years on the Ball Ground City Council and as Volunteer Fire Chief for twelve years.
