Ball Ground officials announced the city will be celebrating “Georgia Cities Week” April 17-23. The city will be holding a variety of events throughout the week, including a Photo Contest and daily trivia question contest.
The theme of this year’s Georgia Cities Week is “Cities in the Mix,” highlighting cities’ important role in creating community gathering spaces and driving economic development. This is the 18th year Georgia Cities Week has been celebrated in the state and Ball Ground is excited to participate this year. “We’re very proud of our city and the services we provide that make it attractive to residents and visitors,” said Mayor Rick Roberts. “Cities provide the services and infrastructure to help businesses grow, and set the stage for events where families and individuals can gather as a community.”
