Special Recycle Day

Hello Ball Ground –

Just a reminder that our dumpsters for clean-up of old household items will be this Saturday, September 16, 2023, in the Community Center Parking from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

You can bring those old household items for disposal. There will be an electronics recycle dumpster and a disposal service for your old cans of Latex Paint – sorry we cannot accept oil-based paints at this event.

This is the first time we have worked with this company and if all goes well, it is an event we can put together 2-3 times a year.

This event is for City of Ball Ground residents on City Sanitation Services thru Waste Management only.

Carl Popham

September, 2023 Veteran of the Month

Carl was inducted into the United States Army on February 5^th, 1965, and served until February 3^rd, 1967. While in the military Carl received training to become a 91R10 – Food Inspection Specialist. During his tenure of service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and earned the Sharpshooter marksmanship badge with the M14 rifle. Carl also served two years on the Ball Ground City Council and as Volunteer Fire Chief for twelve years.
