The Ball Ground City Council is scheduled for Thursday, December 8 at 7:00 PM in the City Council Chambers. A reception will be held following the meeting to pay tribute to Council Members Andrenia Stoner and Lee Prettyman for their many years of service to our City.

Mark Popham

December, 2022 Veteran of the Month

Edwin Marcus (Mark) Popham, Specialist 4 United States Army. Inducted into the US Army in September 1970. During his time Sp4 Popham was stationed in Frankfurt Germany for 15 months.

Capital Projects

The City of Ball Ground receives a portion of the 1% Special Local Option Sales Tax collected in Cherokee County. These funds are used to augment grant and local tax dollars to accomplish capital projects within the City.
