Farmer’s Market This Weekend, June 12

Our Farmer’s Market is off to a great start, thanks to great vendors and wonderful community support.  The Market is located in City Park at the corner of Gilmer Ferry Road and Old Dawsonville Road.  The market takes place every other Saturday from 8 am to 12 noon, so it will be running again on Saturday, June 26th.

URGENT: Council Meeting Postponed

The regular June meeting of the Mayor and Council will take place on Thursday, June 17th, rather than June 10th.  Council meetings have returned to in-person meetings and as always are open to the public.  We hope to see you on Thursday evening, June 17th at 7:00 PM.  Prior to the regular meeting, the City Council will hold a work session beginning at 5:30 PM.

DPH will resume J&J Vaccinations

City Urges Residents – Get Vaccinated

In late March, the City of Ball Ground joined the Georgia Municipal Association’s (GMA) “It’s Worth a Shot” public information campaign around the COVID-19 vaccine. This campaign was built to contribute to Gov. Brian Kemp’s and the Georgia Department of Health’s goal to vaccinate as many Georgians as possible during Spring and early Summer 2021, reach a vaccination rate of 70 to 80%, and achieve herd immunity.
