May, 2023 Veteran of the Month

Ryan Turnage served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from September 2006- September 2013. During his military career, he was deployed to and served 9 months at  Camp Ramadi, Al Anbar Province, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

April, 2023 Veteran of the Month

Glenn C. Haynes, SP4 United States Army.  Inducted into the US Army on May 7, 1970.  Glenn spent 13 months in Vietnam before returning to Ball Ground

Senior Chief Petty Officer George Westbrook

Served honorably in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1974.  George then served another 12 years in active reserves, then transferred to the Fleet Reserve for an additional 8 years.

Lee Prettyman, center, and City Council

Specialist 5 Lee Prettyman

Served honorably in the United States Army for 6 Years and 3 years in the Army Reserve. During that time, he spent 14 months in Korea.

January, 2023 Veteran of the Month

Specialist 4 Ronald P. Luchan (Ronnie)

His wife Mary accepted the honor on his behalf posthumously. Mr. Luchan served in the
US Army from 1966 to 1972.
