The Municipal General Election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to
7:00 p.m. at the Ball Ground United Methodist Church at 3045 Ball Ground Hwy.
In the performance of its governmental functions, The City of Ball Ground contracts with the Cherokee County Board of Elections to conduct all City of Ball Ground Elections. For Absentee mail–out, in–person early voting, and voter registration information call 770–479–0407.

MUNICIPAL ELECTION QUALIFYING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the City of Ball Ground will hold a Municipal General Election on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Ball Ground United Methodist Church located at 3045 Ball Ground Hwy. to fill the office of Council Member Post 1 (currently held by Andrenia Stoner), Post 2 (currently held by Lee Prettyman) and Post 3 (currently held by Vicki Benefield). Those elected will serve a four-year term.
Anyone desiring to run for one of these offices may qualify in the office of the City Clerk at Ball Ground City Hall located at 215 Valley St., Ball Ground, GA 30107 beginning at 9:00 AM Monday, August 15 2022 through 4:30 PM Wednesday, August 17, 2022. The non-refundable qualifying fee of $35.00 shall be paid at the time of qualifying. Candidates must have been a resident of the City of Ball Ground for 12 months immediately preceding the election and shall be registered to vote in Municipal Elections of this City.
The last day to register and be eligible to vote in the November 8, 2022 Election is October 11, 2022. You may register to vote online at the Secretary of State’s Website.
